Ice Cream Man

Recommended Posts

I saw this recipie on Ready Steady Cook yesterday (student on holiday you see) that was a 'lacy' pancake mountain and it was stuck together with Belgium chocolate flavoured Hagen Daas Ice Cream-mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

C.Hart, you are SO right about Magnum's they are delicious, prefer the milk chocolate myself though. Feasts are great but they were always so messy to eat when I was a youngser.

GHA, I know the Milk White cow lollies you were talking about-they're quality, I had some the other day for the first time in years and ,oh! , what an experience!

What about those 'Twist' lollies. They were green and white, I think with a bit of red and they were kind of twisted and they were lush.

Orange Mivvi? Yes. Is it necessary to 'remember' them. Can't you get them any more?

What I do remember is an ice cream called an oyster, bought from the Valente man. Two half shell shaped wafers joined with a dollop of marshmallow, and the thing filled with ice cream from the machine. The more daring would have an oyster 99 but not for the purist.

Ice cream is remarkably easy to make. I once had a damson tree and made damson ice-cream. Very different taste but I can rember it now.
