Next Season

Just a couple of ideas for next season,

 

We should have Kids for a quid, we should be giving out free tickets to school chrildren based on one paying adult, we should have.

 

We should bring back the golden goal time.

 

Need more advertising of matches and trying to attract back the crowds.

 

I know this is easy to say but i think some ideas such as these could work and could be done.

I believe golden goal was replaced by 50/50 as it has the possibility of bringing in more cash, as golden goal is rather restricted to 91 bits of paper.

thats fair enough but does anybody else think that we could be doing more to attract crowds or revenue.

Winning the odd bloody game might help! But yes posters, flyers, free tickets for schools etc

I think Warren has hit the nail on the head. Winning matches is what is crucial. It is all very well advertising games etc but even if you do pique someone's interest chances are before coming to the game they are either going to check things out on here or in the local rag. The league table makes for grim reading and therefore they are unlikely to bother. Obviously that doesn't reflect games like Farnborough which was cracking but you can understand why people were put off that game.

 

I think advertising could work well next season but only if we are performing on the pitch. It would be nice if we could have a decent August for once and pick up some points and then we could get things rolling from there.

i mean if we make a fuss over the kids it is a good investment,i remember when i first went to wexham park with my grandad and first impressions are important as to whether you come back,seeing CS give out a framed photo to a maskot the other week was nice because its something that stays with you, you remain a rebel for life, you bleed amber and blue,and dont think of going to support another club.

the match being regularly competitive would be enough to keep some casual or new fans interest and tempt them to come back more and more

 

the kids are the future fans of the club so getting them hooked early is really vital
