In a midfield position!!!! I wonder where they got that idea from---certainly not from our beloved manager.

It'l be a big loss if he goes.

To be honest he has been solid without doing anything great. In my opinion he has looked better at left back than in his usual midfield spot although he has rarely played there for us. I am not sure how he sees himself but I hoped he would add more attacking impetus to the midfield. He is constrained by our manager and his tictacs. Anyway hope the trial goes well for the lad.

Rumour has it that Browne's screwed us over on this one. He just sent Rocastle to Coventry without trying to discuss any sort of deal should they want to take him. So if he continues to do well, we could lose out on a fee and the chance of a first team friendly at Slough.

Could we have got a fee anyway? He is non-contract presumably. He was at the game yesterday I think so maybe he has not packed his bags just yet.

No I don't think Rocky is contracted, but Coventry are letting players go right - left and centre so it's not certain he'll go.

 

Also with Dean Palmer picking up a bad injury yesterday i'd be surprised if Rocky did not play against Yeading tomorrow. Also Ryan's back from suspension.

But, Coventry are releasing players to cut costs. Replacing five over paid under achieving players with one cheaper player with something to prove would surely be a good move from both a financial and player management point of view?
