Just goes to show how many pubs there used to be in the town and how that monstrosity which is Ward Royal ruined the face of Windsor forever.

To be fair most of Windsor is ok, there are a couple of areas in dedworth which some might term as a bit dodgy but even then you wouldn't exactly say they are unsafe.

 

The best areas are St Leonard

whatever you do stay clear of the royal windsor council estate that is dedworth, very dodgy.

Old Windsor. It's far enough away from deadworth! ( Think Slough but not as scummy, dirty, smelly or polish)

 

Actually as much as i knock deadworth it's 1000 times better than alot of slough!!

 

If i could choose any place to live however it'd be the Castle. I've heard they've got a swimming pool there. Might be beyond your budget mind!

As for my 'racist' post its not. It's a fact. I didn't slag the polish off at all! I have alot of Polish freinds and they dislike Slough for the same reasons!!!

The Polish people i know just don't like Slough! Much like many people around this area don't! It's a horrible place and no amount of debate is going to change my mind!

look my posts mainly about windsor are mostly a joke,mainly because some people who live in the 'royal borough' think just because they somehow live in windsor they qualify as royalty themselves. My main thought is wherever you go in britain there are dodgy areas, not everyone if they had the money would necesarily want to live in windsor,they are happy where they are. id rather live in a decent house in an ok area in slough than in a garden shed or shoebox opposite the castle.Old windsor is ok if your elton john and can afford a decent place but to live in the st lukes area you might as well live in dedworth.

i accept your comments werent racist on purpose but were very clumsy.

anyway when you leave school and have to leave home and get a job you might find you cant afford to live in windsor or when you are old enough you might find the polish have decided they want to live in the wonderfull place that is windsor.

What's wrong with Slough. The post from Amber Rebel is right. Slough is a good town to live in (Shame about the football team). Unless you are on at least 50k then you wont be able to afford windsor so you next best option is maidenhead or slough. As Maidenhead is a [****!!****] hole I would live in slough. Good public transport routes. Close to 3 motorways and a good shopping precinct.

As for windsor, I can't wait till them [****!!****] have their own post code so they don't bring down slough!

and after that they need to get their own telephone dialing code i mean fancy having 01753 why dont you have maidenheads 01628 oh no some parts of slough have that code,
