If you come out of the main entrance of the station so you are facing the castle turn right and then first right. You are now on the high st.

Head all the way down unitl you get to a road and 2 pubs on the corner (criterian and crosses corner)

Head straight over the road and keep following that down.

You pretty much head straight from there over a couple of roads.

You should pass 2 pubs on your right. The Fawn and Duke of York.

When you get to the Stag and Hounds pub there is a little road opposite, the ground is just down there.

In total its about a 15/20 min walk.

I've just read this and some of your directions are a bit wrong.
1. You walk down the peascod street not the high street otherwise you will end up by the long walk!
2. When coming out of the station bear to the right and go through King Edward Court Shopping Centre. You will pass a bar call Ha Ha's (Next to an old train).
3. Follow it through untill you see the next shop than go down the slope.
4. Turn right onto PEASCOD street! Follow it round then you will see 2 pubs on the corner (criterian and crosses corner). Cross over the lights and follow it down.
5. It is now a straight walk to the ground. On the way you will pass the Hospital, Army Barracks, The Fawn Pub and the Duke of Your Pub.
6. The ground is opposite the Stag and Hounds pub. The beer in the stag is a lot better than the club house!

Bloody hell Lord Nelson. How hard is that. You should learn abit more about windsor first before posting on here!

Almost there, but you miss some of the finer points of directions.

The route should run:

Ha Ha's... downhill through the shops, turn right, past

Bar 51... straight on, between

Crosses' Corner and the

Criterion... cross over the lights and straight down St Leonard's Road for a way, past the

Trooper... keep straight on, over two roads, past the barracks, then the

Fawn... onwards up the hill past the

Duke of York... then up to the

Stag and Hounds... then over the road and down to

Stag Meadow. Where you can get a refreshing pint in the bar before the game, and also a fine burger from the teahut.

Now *that's* a proper set of directions with the information a travelling fan needs. Of course, it's a shame the Raglan, Queen's Head and the Merry Wives have shut, to name but three...

PubNav. Can't be beaten smile

Hammerman You must get bored easily and have a lot of time on your hands

To be honest apart from the start your directions are the same as mine.

For someone who has never been to windsor i was just giving them the easy to describe way. Also most people i know refer to the main strip as the high st.

But for someone who has never been to windsor and you call Peascod street the high street he would get lost!
