Pat on the back for L.D.

After saturdays fantastic result I got to thinking about the huge credit L.D.( the 'head coach') deserves. With a small squad, injuries, tight fixture list and games still to be rescheduled he has done a wonderful job.He also reshaped the team based on the 'shots'way of playing in such an effective way to.All the claptrap about 'shots didnt perform', and how they were unlucky all through the game just doesnt hold water for me. Our lads have, did and will always perform to the best of their proverbial and DAISH needs some acclaim too for his tactical nouse that stifled A'shot for a lot of the time. Lets see more of the same on Satdy.WELL DUN LIAM........sorry for shoutin just gettin a bit excited their.......(p.s. no.......I am not a relative or any other form of colleague of his, just think it should be said)

Cos its a "Good News" thread? Much easier to moan about things!
It is one of the most viewed threads tho...

Well done to Liam and all the backroom team...

Well done to Liam and Alan ............so far. I would even go so far as to give them a high 5 if we get the right result on Saturday.

Don't wan't this to sound negative, but at 70 minutes against Shots, we were back peddling rather than pushing forward. We were crying out for a subtle change to turn the tables again - but it didn't happen.

Also with better, more clinical finishing, we could have got a further 2 goals.

Then the tie would have been well and truly won.

Good luck or great play, we got the 3rd goal, which might prove decisive on Saturday, as I am not convinced we could defend a 2-1 lead at the Rec.
