Outstanding commentary from you and Bill yesterday Chas. Nothing to do with the mentions for myself and my good mate Charlie Taters. Thought you both put the game over exceptionally well and reflected the enthusiasm that the crowd were generating at the match. Only pity was that the overseas listeners had to make do with the Southern Counties broadcast rather than your goodselves. Never mind, at this rate I will be buying you your well deserved Bovril at Wembley at £10 a throw - worth every penny! arrr

It wasn't anything to do with RK not paying for it, was it?

Hopefully Chas may be able to answer that......shame that you missed him and Bill nearly losing their voices!

Let's just say that BBC Radio Kent do things by the book, and rightly so. Whether others adhere to copyright regulations is for them to decide and be answerable for. Perhaps you should write to someone and ask.

On another note, I've heard that Skype is very good................

Just found out about the Halifax rearranged game. Could be tricky. I arrive back from a trade show in Nice at 3.30 that afternoon at London City Airport. Four hours to get there? Could just make it. Telling the wife - slightly more complicated.

I think I mentioned that I happened to have Radio Kent in the background while talking to some overseas friends via Skype. It was a bit of a nuisance but they didn't mind the interference from the footie too much. Apparently some others had the same problem.

By the way, and on a completely different subject, I was chatting to my son the other day about the potential for taking an internet radio stream, converting it to mp3 and streaming it in real time. We thought it would be a fun experiment and now have something working.

I might experiment with it next Saturday, I don't think I'm doing anything around 15.00.

I'd be interested in helping you test your ... um ... experiment. arrr
