I wont comment on yesterdays dismal performance, but I must say cheers to Chris S. for sorting out the mascots yesterday. My son Ruben and his cousin Liam had a great time running round the pitch.

When we get a team that's worth watching, this is something that's really worth promoting as the kids enjoy it and it also meant an extra 8 people at the match (although true to form, the two woman sat in the clubhouse throughout the game, and in the second half the majority of the boys were playing football in the clubhouse garden). When Slough scored, Ruben shouted 'Again, daddy!'. If only it were that simple...

Great to see Ruben out there yesterday and I think you are right what you say about mascots Warren, as it is a way of getting the kids involved and intrested in the club and the game.

 

Only about another 14-15 years and he can put the shirt on and play out there for real!

Yep, it was good to see Ruben at the game again, and that he (at least) had a good time.

 

I will have the Mascot photos for you at the next home game. One for Ruben and one for Liam. (No need for a heart attack - Chris)
