Margate 1 Billericay 0

I don't think there would be anyone who would disagree that continues last weeks lacklustre performance.

And I am being polite.

Now 10th and three points behind a play off place...I think we can say that any chance of making a play off place is looking slimmer every week... frown

2 points from 12 certainly isn't play-off form. Very disappointed. I would have thought the team would have been playing with confidence and hunger over the last four games, having hauled themselves up from the bottom of the table - but it seems not!

Simple really. We haven't scored for three consecutive games. If you can't find the net you can't win games.

We haven't gone three league games without a goal for at least two seasons.

What has gone wrong?,lack of confidence, poor passing, lack of passion and the inability to adapt to difficult weather conditions, the last four games have been very frustrating and poor to watch.we have now heaped a good deal of pressure on ourselves for tuesday nights game against folkestone which is very dissapointing and we seem to be throwing away our chance of a play off spot.if we cannot change things upfront and start scoring again i think this could turn out a very dissapointing season which would be a shame, i know we are better than the last four games and i hope the players can lift themselves for folkestone on tuesday night.

Why would he want to take a step down to that level?

I don't think you can blame the forwards for not scoring when they are not getting the service.I can not see the point of playing one up top if you are not going to play the ball to the wide men for them to deliver quality crosses.Yesterday the ball was hit long for the most part for the lone striker to chase. The

wide men have also got to put in more effort than that of recent weeks. When we play the passing game we look a good side when we resort to hitting everything long we look very average. Why not try playing two up top and the passing game.

I thought it was a gutless performance and an insult to those who made the trip down to Margate.

If we had played like we did in the last five minutes in the previous 85 we would have won easily.

315 minutes without a goal.

To many of our players yesterday, imo, took to the field with good intentions but played with a Que sera sera attitude.

Each game has to be played like a cup final, for the most part and with the exception of a few, yesterday's performance was anything but.

Jamie Dormer has been playing with an injury for weeks, and each game it gets worse, yet week in week out he manages to give 100%

Magate deserved their win, they wanted it more.

Our players have nine games to prove their worth for next season, be that with us, or any other club.

Our lads have the ability, but do they have enough fighting spirit to win 7/8 of our last Nine games, time will tell....

Well we can stop our moans now because we have a match to warm those vocal chords of ours up for tuesday night at home to Folkestone this is a BIG game and we and our players have to treat it like a BIG game!

It's refreshing to find players who want to play and don't cry off citing an injury, despite being fit enough to play. It's incredibly tiresome to hear of players who cannot play due to some feeble excuse, and as for players who roll around the ground following a tackle (sometimes without physical touch) only to run around again moments later, well it's an absolute disgrace. Personally, I think if a player's hurt enough to need treatment then he should be made to take a good 3-5 minutes on the sidelines receiving treatment. That should sort that pansying around out.

Well done to Dormer, I say, I just hope he doesn't do himself too much damage.

It was not a performance of a team looking to gain entry into the play off club was it ! I for one was not happy with it, but recently (take last weeks second half showing v Ashford) imo has been lack lustre and going through the motions. I am not one who likes to critisise the lads but this is becoming worrying. We were saying on Saturday on the bus that we can ALL handle defeat IF the team have given everything but i am sorry but that performance was not giving anything for us to crow about.

The windy conditions were identical for both sides and we had one attempt on target. Fair play Margate, apart from their no.2 i enjoyed (result aside) another trip there. The coffee was escpecially good to sober up on smile

Anyway, lets see what Tuesday can do. confused
