To include him ,in a 4 man mid , leaves out a defender , or a striker , unless you flat back four ? I'd rather take my chances of protecting our advantage , and keep 2 up if Winfield starts for them again .

Slarti has it right, I thought that Barrett was fantastic on Saturday. He won just about everything and rarely gave the ball away.

 

Would also go for CG's line up. Ricketts at right back and McPhee right midfield. This will make us strong but also capable of breaking with pace.

 

Luke can be used along with George as an impact player should we require it (God, I hope we dont')

Chris had a brilliant game at RB on Saturday, so why change it just for the sake of changing it? If it ain't broke, don't fix it is what I say.

I tend to agree.

 

If we go looking simply to defend what we have, which is what they are expecting us to do, then we will lose. We all know that we can't play that sort of game.

 

Stick with the 442 and take the match to them, just think of the effect if we were to score first.

 

The only change that I would make would be to rest Luke Moore and replace him with possibly Rafa, who given the chance is not to shabby a winger.

I say keep it the same. Chris as mentioned earlier snuffed out every attack down the right channel on Saturday, and that's the main thing we have to do. yes go for goals, but the main thing is to stop Aldershot scoring. Why change a winning formula?

I'll have to disagree there, I'd keep Luke Moore where he was on Saturday, he played his part at the game, and I can see him improving game-by-game. Dropping him from the side will only dent his growing confidence.

The best news of all though is the Aldersh*t Centre Half missing out on Saturday because of getting his 10th yellow. That should guarentee Winfield a place in the starting line up. Watching him face Chucki and John A. on Saturday should be rather the same as a rabbit loking into the headlights of an on-coming car!
