I think that shows a lack of thinking on his part and could ultimately translate to the field of play

If it annoyed you then job done.

It's strange that it took that to bring you out in the open as you haven't posted in ages, you're obviously a bachelor yourself.

Good luck at Harefield United today, officials are normally busy at games involving Oxhey Jets

Do we know how Mr Panayotiou performed at Harefield United yesterday and whether there were any controversial incidents. At our game yesterday one of the Assistants raised his flag just before an Amersham forward put the ball in the net and then took it down stating that he had made a mistake when our players surrounded him in a Roy Keane and Jaap Stam fashion. Our defence stopped when they saw the flag as the player was offside but as the Referee hadn't blown the goal stood which could have cost us dear.

Perhaps but obviously when you see a linesman's flag go up you automatically stop, it's human nature

Some heavy fines flying around the Kentish Town dressing room, then?

Maybe the programme notes need to be written by somebody more authoritative? grin

A referee, who shall remain nameless, even under torture, told me very recently that, while Kentish Town had some good players, they were the most ill disciplined outfit he had seen in the SSMFL!

Think I could narrow it down to about 3 though. If they were better at what they are being paid for then they would be left alone!

Are you disputing the allegation?

Actually, if red/yellow card count is an acceptable measure of ill discipline (it ought to be, but not sure it is) then someone knows who the most ill disciplined side is!

Judging by the number of cards this season, it could be us! blush

Horace - It's not very difficult to work out, if I'm not mistaken you had Gary Hart as one of the Assistants yesterday who Refereed our game against Royston on Wednesday and we have also had him previously, it's obviously him telling tales out of school.

Totally wrong, as usual! Never mind who it was, refute the allegation!
