You can get an overground train to Limehouse station,which i believe 1 stop before Fenchurch street.Out of the sttion then ask for or go through Rodeswell Road to the stadium.Alternatively Mile End on the central line turn left out of the station and left into Burdett Road and ground is approx 1 mile on Right hand side.

It's one of these municipal stadia where the pitch is surrounded by a running track so the few spectators who turn up are not able to generate any atmosphere.

No bar either because it's not open or because of cultural reasons which disappoints some.

When I enquired about refreshments I was invited into their 'committee room' for some lovely food. Very hospitable to me.

I went via Mile End stn
