I've just had a look at the League table, what an exciting run-in it's going to be.

 

Our next two game are massive, but then again, I reckon just about every other club in our division is saying the same about their games.

 

I'm hearing that the the goal scoring Machine that is Mark Nwokeji is out of action for a while due to a broken hand.

Joe Flack would have been useful for the past however many weeks he has been out as well...bloody footballers

 

I dunno really, he's been 2/3 weeks away for the past 4/5 weeks.

It's his surgeon that has been saying he will be back, but each time Joe has stepped up his training he's had a set back...bloody surgeons

 

Investing in footballers is a bit like dabbling in the stock marked, their value goes up and down, but if you hang on long enough you hope to get a return.

I'm only jesting Joe.

 

As frustrated as we are with his absence, it's far worse for Joe, he has had enough of sitting around, he wants to get back, pull on the Blue shirt, and do what he does best...scoring goals.

According to one "Icedog" on the Staines Forum this morning, Mark Nwokeji, or "Nokkers" as he is known, I gather, to the cognoscenti has indeed broken his hand but plans to wear a lightweight cast which it is hoped will allow him to play but it is, he understands, at the referee's discretion on the day whether he thinks the cast is safe to wear or not....
