Hard to argue with the way things played out tonight. Picked up 2 points on Exeter, 3 on Salisbury, 3 on Histon, and 2 on Burton Albion.

Didnt play that well tonight - particularly the second half - so just grateful for the 3 points. Against a stronger team, we may have been punished.

 

We may have a small squad, but its good to feel that we can make as many as 5 changes from Saturday and still put out a decent team though. How often could we have said that in the last few years?

We gained points on all the teams just above us (except FGR) and still retained all our Games in hand.

 

The problem comes from the fact we have the same amount time as everyone else to play more games, and that small squad is going to be very tired. The games we have got aren't looking perticulary easy either (still to play Stevenage, Aldershot, Oxford, FGR and camberidge). Essentially we still have to play 1/2 the teams above and a few other big teams.

 

Realisticly with 42 points left up for grabs i would be happy if we take around 21 to 24ish and view any extra we get as a bonus.

Plus Wembley if we get past the Shots, and also the Kent cup semi final.
