I've just read this whole thread and you come across as a complete pillock. All Slough supporters will readily accept that the club has been in a mess for many years - so until the ground is sorted - they are unlikely to be able to attract a decent management team or players. But the supporters havent given up and I hope they get their reward. Just because Hillingdon have had a decent run in a reserve team cup competition doesnt give you the right to slag these boys off.

Slough supporters - I hope you get the points you need this season and look forward to your massed ranks visiting the Portway next year.

We really enjoyed following the Rebels during and after Boros demise in the mid 80s. However after reading some of these remarks we dont miss the winging supporters one little bit.

It is a pleasure supporting the Boro again, when things were not going so well at the beginning of the season everyone always fully supportive of the management team.

Personally small gates dont bother us too much, it is a good little atmosphere as everyone at the club are friendly and fully behind the management team win or lose. Obviously we would really like to see bigger gates that the team richly deserve at the moment.

You are all welcome at Hillingdons League Cup Final first leg as long as you leave the moans behind at Slough.

Seriously why dont you get behind your management team especially Roy Merryweather who does a brilliant job for you.

Keep smiling its only a game.

We wait in anticipation for your kind remarks

I don't think anybody has any gripe with Hillingdon Borough. Since the club reformed in the early 90's it has come a long way and is doing extremely well on the pitch with a good structure off it.

What is disappointing is an individual who claims to be a supporter of your club hijacking a thread which previously had no mention of Hillingdon Borough and express their opinions of Slough Town, make unfounded comments regarding the financial situation at our club and how s(he) wants Bracknell to stay up rather than Slough. This is an open forum and so all comment is welcome, but in posting these remarks the individual has acted as a poor ambassador for Hillingdon Borough, for whom nobody among the Slough supporters have any reason to hold a grudge.

Good luck to Hillingdon with the League Cup final and the rest of the season. Hopefully the individual concerned can put their time and effort into supporting your team rather than playing childish games on this forum

Sorry Sue we stand corrected.

Guess we are not used to the word whinging, thank god.

Anyway good luck for Saturday and the rest of the season.

King Tut and Barry Scott I think you are being rather harsh on these poor Hillingdon supporters, as it must be very lonely on the Hilindon forum with just 4 new threads and 2 posts since 1st January 2008 and you can see why they look at our forum with 162 new threads and 1452 posts in the same time.

So our thoughts go out to all the lonely Hillingdon fans out there with the message of - having a ground and being in cup runs is not everything, as it does not bring the crowds in!

By the way what leauge game attracted the largest gate of 151, so far this season at Hillingdon?

In answer to Staines Rebel Comments.

We look at the Rebels website because we are still interested in their fortunes having followed them for ten years plus during and after the Boro demise.

We agree the Boro website is not active and many people sadly dont bother to use it, but that is not the reason for viewing your website.

We noted today that you are now considering if it is worth the cost just because your team are having a bad run?

Like your Brighton Rebel we cover many miles traveling down from Northants to watch the Boro.

We have clubs like Kettering & Rushden on our doorstep but Boro are our team, no doubt if Boro had not reformed we would have stayed with the Rebels.

Clubs need loyalty even through the bad times.
