Ebbsfleet car parking Charge

Recommended Posts

So Ebbsfleet international have lots of car park space going spare.

So they cause hell of a fuss over parking in the roads, and offer free car parking, to the Fleet supporters. this in turn get the fans to think what nice people they are,and how they are looking after the fans of the club that they sponsor.then they encourage the council to place double yellow lines where the jolly old EBBSFLLET supporters used to park, then low and behold they then levy a car parking charge ,From next Saturday. well well what a surprise not.

What if no one paid the "small charge" or the fine? Power to the people! smile

Anyway they cannot just stick yellow lines down without notice and consultation. So the yellow lines would be illegal.

Just have to park were I used to park. That will piss off the locals! smile

Bottom line is that staff need to be paid. Facilities maintained.

It is a very secure car park and I will certainly use it. The free parking is to encourage people to park in the car park in future. How much does a side window cost to get replaced.

You have a choice. A couple of quid to park and be safe or pay nothing and risk having your car broken into

What really annoys me about the car-park charge is that Eurostar try to promote close links with the club and its fans, and then do this...

And yes, I understand that Eurostar have costs, but you can guarantee that the amount paid for parking will outweigh any additional staffing costs.

Bill, I'm outraged they won't have anyone there to valet my car, pump the tyres up, change the oil and maybe service it if a game goes to extra time. And for free too, the stingy buggers!
