Scott Signs Goodrham

I think it is more about Windsor throwing money around after a playoff spot- it's a bit like Chelsea pinching players off the competition on the basis that when they are sitting on your bench they can't be playing for the opposition - a good old fashioned wrecking tactic.

I shall be fascinated to see how many starts Goodrham actually gets.

Throwing money around, I think not. We have signed two players since Scotty took over and one of them is Simon.

If we were throwing money around signing players to prevent other teams doing well why only two of them. Is it maybe because they both came from Burnham?

Also, as for the amout of starts, thats 1 out of 1, 100% every game SO FAR!!

The simple fact is that Scotty was looking for a player to play the holding role in midfield and Simon fitted the bill, having played under him at Chesham. Having spoken at length to Simon on Tuesday he was always going to be coming to us for next season because of Scotty but was torn between leaving Burnham/joining us straight away. Scotty managed to persuade him that he could make a differece here and he was impressed with the setup so money didn't come into it, especially as we haven't got any to throw around, despite what some people might say!
