Tickets (why)

Recommended Posts

Buy a ticket tomorrow night,for sats game(WHY)

I bet that will mean a turnstle will be closed for tickets only, and then we will all have to wait to get in with a ticket or not. leave it as its always been, get in early and have a beer or fleet burger. !!!! ok a beer.

Recent games have had queues at the cash on the door turnstiles, while season ticket holders can just walk up and go through. So if the tickets can be used in the 'Season Ticket' entrance it will cut down on the overall queuing time

(Also, IF Fleet do make it to Wembley, having a ticket might be one way to ensure you qualify for a ticket!!)

Doh!

So as long as these gates are open and used for ticket-holders, should reduce queues even more so!
Unless the idea is to open as many gates as possible for everyone to get in asap - having tickets should speed up the process as there will be no need to wait for change!

I think what Patman was saying is that usually on cup games the season ticket entrance is closed, as everyone has to pay. If you prebuy a ticket tomorrow night then the club could open the "season ticket" gate for entry to those with tickets.

Nope. Attending one game out of the whole season will not get you any special queue jumping for the final, and rightly so.

Season ticket holders will get first dibs then there will be a free for all for the remaining tickets.

I did kinda mean that with my tongue firmly in cheek...
However, surely those who have attended other games would get some step-up the picking order of the inevitable band-wagon jumpers that a Wembley final will no doubt attract?

What usually happens is this...

Firstly the season ticket holders get to buy a limited number each. Usually two tickets.

The remaining tickets go on sale to those people that turn up to the ground to buy them (locals).

Any remaining after that are then sold on the telephone (via post).

Least that's how it worked for our FA Cup game against Notts County at home a few seasons ago.

What will be the capacity for home fans be on Saturday?

Also, how long you think the journey would be a car from Rotherham on Saturday. I have popped it in TomTom and she tells me 3 and a half hours.

What's the road works/traffic like down your end around 11 am?

The Dartford Bridge could make or break your journey times! No way of knowing what the traffic will be like in advance - but the A2 roadworks should not cause you any problems.

Depends.

Morons coming out of Bluewater will slow you down, give yourself four to five hours.

Or what you could do is issue vouchers at league matches leading up to the final. Collect 3 vouchers to get a ticket for the final. This would bump up home attendance and makes sure someone who has not attended a game does not leapfrog someone who regulary has.. Then the rest get thrown to the wolves.
