Alienation of traditional fan base.

"I hate that it's made the tense relationship between MyFC and local supporters even more strained."

It has. Big step back yesterday. Some of the more reasoned members of both sides made a big contribution yesterday. But the fact that a minor incident divided people on 'tribal' lines is worrying.

The people that are making the most noise about this weren't there.

I was there - the guy behaved like a dickhead.

No manner of apologies, however contrite they seem, will erase the fact that it happened.

The relationship between old fans and myfc is balanced on a knife edge at the best of times and it only takes one incident or gormless comment to kick it off again.

Most worrying is that people seemingly with power on the myfc forum find it amusing that someone entered the field of play.

At least this incident has brought a welcome change with a discussion of vaguely relevant topics as opposed to the recent tripe we have had to endure.

RS

Lighten up .

After all these posts people have aired their views , rightly and wrongly , on your thread .

You have attempted to bring me and others back onto topic with your cut and paste ?

Those that wished to post have . End of .

Reminder - it's a forum . Anybody can post anything - mine was an attempt at humour that most readers got , you obviously didn't ... don't go all schoolteacher on a diehard .
