bollox,heard it was 1-0 to lowestoft at h/t and was hpoing they could get a draw so i could have a trip up the A12 this week,hard luck lads,you have done the ESL Proud!!!!

I would have been far happier during the match if Lowestoft could have got a second goal. Nervy when Concord pressed in attacks and hit the bar once! The goal was 13 minutes into the first half, that's a long time to hold your breath!

A good clean game, well refereed I thought (no doubt someone will disagree), and good to talk to some Canvey supporters.

I also have to thank the two Canvey & Benfleet area motorcyclists who met me at the Blinking Owl and led a run out around Hullbridge, Canewdon, Southend in the morning before the game.

A good day out, well worth the ride down in the wind!

I would make Lowestoft a better bet than Needham Market. I predicted that the two would meet in the Final quite a while ago. Let's see if they avoid each other in the draw.

Well done Lowestoft supporters , you were fantastic for your team.

 

The truth of the matter is if Danny Heale was playing and had the 3 chances that fell to me we would have won the game with ease. Unfortunately they fell to me and as such Lowestoft are in the semis. Everyone played well for us. Kev Mully was a rock at the back. We gave it our all but it just wasnt enough .
