First 45 minutes today was rhe most boring I've ever seen. So much so that I was even sitting down on the terrace!

Long ball into the wind with no width or arial ability, I thought it was going to be one of them games.

Second half we play it along the floor more, the wind drops and we start to play some nice football in the final third of the pitch. If only we had, had a midfield at today's game, we might've got a few more.

Loved Gab's first goal, in the right place for the second and Ruggy's was textbook stuff.

My attention was diverted for the sending off, but he should've walked for being the most consistent whiner of the game.

First time I've been to Ilford. Nice gesture of a free programme for £7 entry, but no atmosphere, [****!!****] officials and no ball-boys which is a joke for a club with a running track.

Still unbeaten in 2008, but we need to get our act together in some positions to keep that statistic next weekend.

The wind didn't favour us at all but once we swapped ends, we were far better in the second half.

We got a bit sloppy at times and their equaliser was poor defending on our part but we took our goals well.

Great lob by Gab for the first goal and some great running and an excellent cross by Leon to set up the third goal for Ruggy.

Not a spectacular performance but at the end of the day a win is a win and the likes of Dartford and Sudbury struggled to 1-0 wins at Ilford this season whilst Ware only managed a draw so it's not an easy place to go to.

The strong wind and bumpy pitch made it very difficult to play any decent football but we done what we needed to.

Should be a cracking game next Saturday against Sudbury.

I think todays win will probably be one of the toughest and hardest 3 points we will earn all season.

A terrible playing surface and that's being kind, no atmosphere and a near gale force win made life very difficult today.

Playing passing football on the ground was impossible, added to that we played against the wind in the first half which trust me was very very difficult.

To be honest both sides played very little football through the midfield due to the surface, today was about getting the ball in the right areas and taking our chances.

Matt - Im not sure how can say some players need to get there act together before next week, have you not noticed we are unbeaten since boxing day and playing very very well??! That comment did amaze me!

Roll on next Saturday were we can play against a good side on a excellent surface where there is banter and atmosphere!

Well done today to the Players and Management

ps: I really hope we never have to play a league game at Ilford again!

It was always going to be a second half match, and to be honest I would not have been worried had we gone in at half time 1-0 down.

When they scored straight after we did that was a bit worrying, but our class told as the game wore on and there was only going to be one winner.

Noticed that. Dartford only managed a 1-0 win as well and Ware only drew.

It's a horrible ground. Pitch is awful, no atmosphere and with the running track around the pitch, you're miles away from the action.

Cheshunt were hammered 5-1 yesterday so maybe he should go back to the football career.

That was well funny! The Yellow Army gave the stand a little tap and the thing started shaking like a s**tting dog (c Peter Kay).

The "stadium manager" came round, and when we said that he can't know much about football, he said I do cos I play for Cheshunt. Then he came out with the blinding line that he has to work on Saturdays!

To be fair, he turned out to be well alright, and got a kiss from Tel for his troubles!

Another memory for what could be a great season for CIFC!

Watching games like yesterdays makes you appreciate even more the hard work and time that people put in on our pitch applause

Don`t think we could have complained if we had been behind at half time and i was very happy when the third goal went in to kill off the game. We played ok in difficult conditions and the most important thing was getting the 3 points yay

I hope we get promoted this year, 'cause I really don't want to go back to Ilford. The ground is such a hell hole. Hopefully Ilford will be relegated too. I find it hard to believe that ground hosted Olympic football matches in 1948.

Still, at least Ilford bothered to put an up-to-date table in their programme, unlike Brentwood. I didn't appreciate the mouth full of smoke being blown in my face as I passed through the turnstile though.
