Maidstone Utd vs MFC - LIVE from Bourne Park

To me the star men were Jay in midfield, won virtually every header I saw him go up for. Louis once again shone at the back covering Trotty a few times. Goals taken very well, Macca's was a superb volley, I was standind by the bench and they went berzerk with delight. The look on Hulme's face was a picture as he had ben trying to intimidate the ref all game. Well done lads, not pretty at times but a hard fought 3 points.

I went mental when that went in! along with everyone else in the dugout, a much deserved 3 points in my eyes.

Ramsgate mick is a nice bloke, you are just a c0ck,no offence but you are, nothing against ramsgate, still you can apologise for accusing me of causing trouble at our recent match and saying that the bloke who argued with your fans was me,when i was 200 yards away and even had a beer with after, still, the balls in your court and you can settle this now or keep the feud going, one thing is certain though,i will not lose!
If you want to apologise, the feud will be ended,if you don't then battle will commence.

Steve-i've noticed that at the final whistle you 'wrap up and summarise' very very quickly before going off air.

Is there some sort of broadcasting rights reason for that, airtime booked-and thus cost etc.

I also appreciate you are probably kna-ker-d from concentrating.

I did wonder whether staying on air for just a couple of extra post match minutes adds something to the broadcast-either to take in the celebrations-or the sadness when we lose.

Sometimes intersting things also occur in the immediate aftermath of the match-(i'm not refering to the Dean incident)-maybe opposition going to the ref, maybe Margate players applauding the fans-just adds that little extra for me.

That is a really interesting idea. Certainly there are no broadcasting rights issues. At HdP it has more to do with a "goodbye and thanks for your attendance" announcement and all the stuff that needs to be packed away (PA gear) and prepare for post match interviews. But, having said that I reckon that is something I can look at. Thanks for the idea.

A bit like yesterday-when you win, you somehow want to join in with the triumph, and hanging on those extra couple of minutes adds to it somehow.

Reminds me of something else really but best not go there.
