Only 3 of our last 9 games are against teams also in the 'around the playoffs' bracket, which ought to help matters. Billericay next Saturday, and the matches at Ramsgate and Hornchurch will probably hold the key for us. Judging by the table, Hendon are the team that could be excised from the playoff spots. Staines and Horsham both still have three games in hand, although they are only a point ahead of us as things stand. I have a hard time believing they won't pick up enough points to pull just too far ahead, so the battle is on for fifth - probably one of us, Ramsgate, Hornchurch, Billericay, Hendon or, on the outside, Ashford.

 

I think that's right - at our level the website tables don't update quickly enough, so it's a pen and paper job from slightly fragmentory information.

 

Anyway, a good day however you look at it.

Just got back from Sittingbourne. We made hard work of that. Maidstone hit the post towards the end and Scotty made a superb save shortly afterwards at the attackers feet. Then Mackers hits the winner with a lob, wasn't too sure if it had gone in or not from where we were until we saw the celebrations down that end. PHEW! A BIT OF LUCK GOES OUR WAY THIS TIME.
