Just a bit of advice for you all. When we played at maidstone the other week i went on the rams supporters coach we got there i think about 1.15pm and we all had to stand outside the ground until the chairman arrived which was about half an hour later. The bar was open but you are not allowed to go through the turnstiles until the chairman arrives ( something to do with money) so all you decent fans who like a beer (steve pain)there is supposed to be a pub not to far from there. when Hornchurch went there on a tuesday night, most of us got there about 6:45 and found the turnstiles unopened.

That is very true. Even though the bar is open they wont let you into the ground that early. I'm not sure about there being a pub that close, and it's a long trek from the station...

Thanks for the advice. We should be ok though. Our fans coach doesn't leave until 1pm.

Yeah you're right. Been there once about five years ago for a friendly against Sittingbourne. There's a few pubs in town if you're travelling by train but the ground was on the far side of an industrial estate. At least a 15 minute walk from any pub from memory.

Lovely looking stadium when you get there, dont forget to go drive straight past it to the dump at the back

 

Even Maidstones own fans dont go to home matches, their away averages are higher. And, it's the coldest place on earth
