Hopefully the Board will reflect this in the quality of retirement presents that are provided to these most kind and excellent gentlemen.

 

Martins comments are not argued with in anyway shape or form, but with the exception of the players we all give our time for free and pay to come through the turnstiles and/or a monthly donated financial contribution. Manager, Coach, Kit Boy, Safety Officer, Board Members, Board Room Staff, Goalden Goal team, 50:50 seller, Shop staff, tea bar staff, stewards, announcers, groundsmen and Sunday working parties. It is what makes this a special community. Now Goldsdown Sport may be different but Town could not have got off the ground without this commitment from all these people of Enfield. Any new recruits need to be aware of and respect this ethos (whether there is move to pay a salary in the future or not).

 

What does in my opinion change things since we were created are that the gate prices have steadily risen. If fans do not think that they have had value for money they either stop coming saying nothing or moan about performance.

 

It is good our desire for success is undiminished.
