... seems we're going to Canvey again next season.

 

I was caught in two minds a bit who I wanted to win. On the one hand I wanted Canvey to win, as I slightly prefer them as a club, and some of their fans are nice blokes.

 

But on the other hand I wanted Aldershot to win, as it's a better laugh going down to Canvey, and I'd miss the quality piss-up we have there every season.

Aldershot fan's are w***kers and there is always a danger that one season we will get the kicking of our lives - That wouldn't happen at Canvey.

 

The piss up is better at Canvey.

 

We can really wind Canvey up but Aldershot get really wound up (but always a chance of the first paragragh happening)

 

We always turn Aldershot over, Canvey always tonk us.

 

It's a hard one ...... Can Hendon still win the league?

I think losing 1-4 at Stortford last night put paid to that!!

Look, whilst I really don't pretend to be a shots fan, we need a win or we're really up the creek, so hopefully Canvey will renounce their championship bid and let Chesh survive, maybe I am too optimistic, the good weather does that to me sometimes.

Me too, funniest moment of this season was winning at their place, we always take points off the champions, another indicator that shots will win the league.

 

Come on canvey, surely you don't want Heybridge or Aylesbury to stay up?? A bit of generousity from Jeff King would be nice...

Sorry Steve, we like Heybridge because we always thrash them and we put eight goals past Aylesbury in two games. Rather see Boreham Wood go down.

 

Should be a good game on Saturday. Chesham always do well at our place but in the last three seasons we've won 2-1 and on every occassion we've scored our winner late on.

 

For some strange reason I always seem to miss Chesham at home. It was the only home league match I missed last season. I should be there Saturday though.

alright, well one last trip to the sea side will be nice, means we'll have to go to Uxbridge next year, great..

Or Tilbury, not quite by the seaside but you get an impressive view of the docks!!

Local derby against Hemel Hempstead should be interesting. Great Wakering is a nice place to visit and East Thurrock is OK. My mate's brother plays for East Thurrock.

Hemel Hempstead, small corner of Essex in the middle of hertfordshire, might be home from home for you buddy, but it isn't all that!

Then there's Aylesbury a small corner of the American deep south in Buckinghamshire...

The best thing to happen to Aylesbury recently is the new bypass which, hopefully, will go right past the place.

Thankfully Laz, that's exactly what it does, with a bit of work they could turn that A41 in to a real race track, can already do Watford to Chesham in 15 minutes, though not strictly to the speed limit!

I know, I go up there quite a bit and I'm a bit of a speadfreak myself. I'll miss that crappy speed camera in Aston Clinton.

Seems like a lot of you guys have a hatred for Aldershot which is a shame but to be honest I dont care because I dont think we will be playing you guys again for a long time. Reckon Bedford will be going up next season.

 

How many fans will you guys bring 2 the rec on Sat?? 20?? 30?? Anyway it will be nice for you to see the champions one last time!

I can't see Aldershot staying in the Conference for more than a couple of seasons. Look at Sutton, Hayes, Kingstonian etc. They always return.
