Think there's 16 teams left, though not 100% sure. Was commented last night that they may struggle to finish the competition this season.

 

Southend Manor knocked Redbridge out in the last round, though I'm sure Redbridge were not at full strength.

hopefully Batchy will play the same sort of side he did against Concord. Give youngsters a run out but still put out a side strong enough to progress.

Im sure Batchy will play a mix of squad players and reserves for this game.. To be honest it not worth risking key players especially with such an important few weeks ahead.

 

I hear the game will be played at home on Tuesday 11th of March.. Im sue the Glen will confirm shortly.

See i want to go far in this trophey but like you said it isn't worth risking players we will need for our play off push. Hope we go far in this competition.

As Shedboy says, match scheduled for Tuesday 11th March, 7.45pm. The winners get Brentwood or Ilford in the next round.

The winners will be at home to Brentwood or Ilford.. At least we have no chance of going back to the crap hole that is Ilford if we beat Southend Mannor..!

After seeing the draw, I'd rather call it a day with Southend Manor. I think we could do without a match against Ilford and playing Brentwood could be unsettling.

As nice as winning the cup would be, we need to put all our eggs in the playoff basket.

I think that Batchy will continue to field squad teams for these games. Against Concord the likes of Victor Okisor, Jordan Mumford, and Kieran English all started, with Kieran since coming on as a sub v Wakering.

 

I'd love to win the cup (or galleon!), and if we can do it and bring some players through at the same time, that would be brilliant!

Aslong as Batchy fields similar sides in each round as he did against concord then it shouldnt bother our league games. Id like to see Canvey win this for the sake of the players who dont always get first team.
