Completely agree, no pace at all. But they link play excellently and Pomroy was excellent. Not sure they will be the partnership next year, but great start so we'll see.

Yeah all look to be good signings.......and all have pace! Which we lack badly.

 

Warren Waugh, he came up last night and apparently Chertsey are not interested at all. He played 1 game for our reserves (kingsmeadow) and was awful!

Might be wrong here but are players that want to drop down 2 levels for money going to have the balls to work through tough games in this league? Surely if they were good, ambitious players they would want to play at highest level possible?

 

What kind of money we talking about anyway CL? I know lot of players at Ryman Prem and to match what they are picking up is serious money for this level. Will any be recouped by a promotion? I doubt it. And what happens in worse case scenario of chairman getting bored and pulling money?

Pommers is on contract I believe so as you say Gussy has to be on decent money to make contract legal. (Minimum wage and all that [****!!****])
