Could have been a lot more, nice to see a few of the fringe players get a run out, although, and without being picky, would have liked to have seen a few more. Anyway, should have scored more than the one and what a surprise to see the scumbags ([****!!****]ering that is) try to start a fight at the end of the game, when will they ever learn!! Anyway, they are a team that I really will not miss next season, horrible!!!

The lads did fine and Gt Wak nearly scored at the end but to be fair we should have been more in front by then.

Must give a mention to Mike Collier, my MOM, well done, superb handling and kicking.

Thought Batesy did well, Jonah after his flu, always 100 %

The three blondies at the back!!!

Also Vinnie, Crippo and Taff always looked quality.

The ball boys showed some talent at half time!!!

what a bunch of thugs some of those players are,

its a pity really because the club officials are really

nice people, perhaps one of them should put his foot down,

 

heard their dwarf manager and his fat assistant giving it large after the game about what they were or weren't going to do to us on the last game of the season, nice,

As they say though, talk is cheap!! Two games they offered nothing, the goal they got against us in the league goal was a slip by our goalie and all their efforts last night were attempts at lobbing our keeper from 25 yds! Quality team!

 

Anyone know how big the crowd was last night?

 

Returning to league matters, I see that Slough are keeping the pressure on us by beating East Thurrock last night, they are now within 3 points of us and if I recall they have a better goal difference than us. Uxbridge though only managed a draw, so I think it is fair to say its now between us, Hemel and Slough for that 2nd spot!

The gate attendance was 264 but I thought it was a bit subdued down there last night....seemed to liven up in the last 15 minutes or so.....

 

Slough are only three points behind us now but they've played a game more now so......

 

Hemel are one behind and they've also played a game more....its firmly ours to win or lose......

 

back to last nights game....I thought the team did well without any fireworks...nice to see the long string of passes at the end and the riverside shouting 'Ole' after every one....not had that one before......

 

anyway...nice to be in a semi final..... against Grays I believe....possibly next Thursday but check first I'm not 100% sure....bit of a bonus really given that we decided not to get involved in the cups this season....

 

might as well win it now we've got this far.....!!!
