Worth it, too. Hat-trick for Chennels, and he couldn't stop grinning after the game: great efforts from Ben and Casey down the wings, and Willo especially after he dropped back behind Chenns (that cross for the second goal was simply perfect), and although there were two or three close shaves in defence that's all they were so the clean sheet speaks.

 

Plus I really liked the passing, far more of it was on the ground and far more of it was to each other rather than hacked aimlessly... and the running was good, people were finding space and anticipating, rather than just waiting hopefully. Overall I thought that's the best we've played in ages.

 

And we even had some floodlight-related fun to start us off, which meant I saw the kickoff (and Chenns trying to beat last week's scoring speed record) rather than being just too late as normal.

we played well against a poor team (kinda makes me wonder how they have achieved some of there results recently) willo's cross for the second was outragously good!

 

still not quite sure about johnny issacs looks good on the ball but i still see a huge lack of effort on his part.

I thought it was a good game we played some good passing football and used the wings effectively,unlucky to be only 1-0 up at h/t and andover came out and played a bit for 10 mins and could have got an equaliser. for some reason we stopped playing it wide and began to hoof the ball, still it all came right, lets go for marlow saturday could be a decider as to whether we or marlow challenge uxbridge for the final play off place and with uxbridge still to come to the meadow, its all there to play for.

Apart from the two instances it wasn't as bad as it has been recently!

 

As for Milly we both know who'd win in a one on one fight. Which is why i decided to back off!

you might be right in one way but their is a border line between what is football chants and racist or anti-semetic rhetoric,the fact that there was a sizable number of young lads also behind the goal it wasnt a very good example to set to them, the fact is i dont think it was malice but generally not thinking before opening their mouths. theres plenty of other chants and cheering to get behind the team that we can leave that in the rubbish where it belongs.

Well when i came to the young ones behind the goal, they didnt exactly need any encouragement so say the least. They started having a pop at us behind the goal, then they started and gave the Andover goalie grief for the entire game.

There was also another chant which wasn't racist or anti semetic or likely to cause offence to anyone but VERY stupid after recent events!!
