Jamie Wallace was rushed into hospital on Monday with a suspected heart-attack. Wallace 28 fell ill on Monday complaining of severe chest pains, an ambulance was called and Wallace was rushed into Dartford infirmary.

After close observation, further tests revealed that the Manor midfielder was suffering from a blood clot on the lung. Wallace will remain under observation for the next 24 hours before being released from hospital.

Manor Manager Graham Chester, concerned for Wallace's health visited him in hospital on Tuesday, Chester said "When I first heard the news about Jamie on Monday I was devastated, he was one of our best players on Saturday against Southend Manor and showed no signs at all that he was ill. I visited him in hospital on Tuesday along with my Assistant Manager Tony Leary, I was pleased to see Jamie sitting up and looking well, this came as a great relief to know he is going to be okay"

Wallace will continue to be monitored over the coming weeks and will simply need plenty of rest.

Everyone at the Manor look forward to Jamie's speedy recovery and all of our thoughts and best wishes go out to him and his family.

All the best pal, hope to see you up and about soon.

Morning all - thanks for the kind words but must explain that i think this has been made rather more dramatic than it really was. There was no ambulance involved, it was never a suspected heart attack & all is now well. I had a suspected blood clot on the lung which cleared itself within a couple of day with some injections to thin the blood. Now feeling rather embarressed after seeing what has been written on here. Not sure where the story came from but it certainly wasn't from me. Just thought it was only right to clear this up as somewhere along the line what actually happened has been changed somehow!
