Why our goal was disallowed is a mystery only equalled by the amount of injury time. We started the second half, according to my watch, dead on 8.45 and there was around six or seven minutes injury time but I honestly don't recall that many injuries. Ryan Peters certainly didn't take up a lot of time and the only other one that I can recall was Louis Smith which seemed like cramp. And it was good to him score - he has never, at least in my opinion, let us down.
Surely the referee should be made to justify the amount of time he adds on? I know that it has benefited us in the past (Grays FA Cup?) but its not as though he has to make a snap decision on such a matter. Perhaps someone could enlighten?

All in all though a good game, rotten result but as it was my first visit to the Wimbledon set up I must say that it was impressive, especially to see 2,200 spectators on a Tuesday night.

Sorry blush

Oh come on TA; CE put a comment on about which he felt serious, the next few posts were likewise and then it became sidetracked.

I have no problem with the humour as long as it sticks to the topic but those didn't did they? Liken it I suppose to people having a conversation and then that conversation getting hi-jacked.

Anyway thanks Bitch (horrible word to write) for the apology.

Ok point taken Drummer, my apologies too to you and Mike.

Regarding the thread reading todays paper Terry Brown told Trotty we were by far the best team who have played them this season. Here's hoping the lads can turn it around tomorrow at Bourne Park.
