every club to their own of course but most ryman clubs post updates on their forums for those that cannot travel/listen in/get texts from friends...some of these threads encourage fans from all clubs joining in as could be seen on the margate forum tonight....probably serve to create new interest as well from neutrals trolling...

 

so....happy old unc decides to do one on here for the big game tonight only to find it easier to get information out of the kremlin thatn to find out the scores...sure its on the moonies site which I refuse to pay lip service to as it resembles the ramblings of pol pot but nothing at all on sky (big question to ask there for me as well)

 

the koreans locked a whole country away from the world for 50 years....only the moonies appeared with their doctrines...

 

surely they couldn't do it to a football club... shocked

I had to rely on written updates,so I don´t know for sure who exactly scored now.

Still,that is just secondary interest.

I guess perhaps the updates was somewhat biased,but Ebbsfleet missed a serie of chances..and the win was thoroughly well deserved in the end.

On to WEMBEEERLEY!!

it was atucally Stacy Long that scored, a classic fleet match.

 

We should of won inside the 90 mins we had at least 3 good chances and thats off the top of my head there could of been more!!

We fully deserved it, Burton did scare us a couple of times but apart from that it was all The Mighty Fleet.

If Burton had won after that display of defensive football (did their bloke up front vanish into thin air midway through the second half?), we'd have only had ourselves to blame. As mike said, should have wrapped it up before then but thank god Long scored... it would have been typical of Burton to nick it via pens!

 

Still, who cares, into the semis... what a couple of games they should be.

 

PS. Attendance... did 400 people jump the turnstiles or something?

I'm an Exeter fan and went in a sort of neutral capacity kind of hoping that Nigel Clough's Burton Albion would win after a penalty shootout to give them fixture pile-up.

 

In the end it would have been a travesty, Fleet should have won by 3 clear goals in the 2nd half as NCBA didn't turn up after half time. I thought there was about 1,100+ there tonight.

 

IMHO Akinde and Sascha were good, but Long looks like a superb player everytime I see him. My MOM

 

Just wondered why no-one drinks in The Slaughtered Lamb (The Plough) after the game due to its close proximity?
