A fond farewell to the ground that has served us well for years and a farewell to all the supporters who will not follow us wherever we go. That is what I meant.

 

I want Deaner out as much as the next man.

 

But I am a realist. We will not stay at Wexham Park whilst Deaner is with us. We cannot get rid of Deaner. We will not stay at the Park because the Thorne wants us out. We need a ground otherwise we cannot play football.

 

Let's hope we find a ground within the borough asap.

I want a football club called Slough Town playing somewhere in the pyramid next season and for that my friend we need a ground agreement in place hence the proposed ground shares.
