From today members on MyFC will be able to watch full match coverage and highlights of all 16 remaining EUFC league matches this season free of charge.

The coverage will be in 256kbs resolution.

There will also be a HiRes service available at 800kbs and will cost £10 for the rest of the season. HiRes TV carries considerable bandwidth, filming and production costs and the £10 charge is to cover these costs (10% will go to MyFC funds). Included in the HiRes TV service will be

- Full 90 minutes of every league game

- Edited match highlights

- Weekly interviews and features from the training ground

- Interviews and features from Stonebridge Road.

The provision of full match coverage free of charge is recognised as necessary for the members of MyFC to be informed for the pruposes of 'picking the team'.

The thing about the MyFC "shopping mall" is that when you buy via MyFC (and only then) do the companies involved make a donation. I've tested the AA one (as my car insurance is up in about 7 weeks) and can get cheaper insurance just by dealing DIRECTLY with the AA than by using MyFC's AA link. So IF (and I stress that) this scenario is replicated across the mall, it's actually YOU who are effectively making the donation to MyFC (by paying higher prices in the mall) - not the companies.

Others may wish to test this with other companies listed to see if this is indeed the case.

That should not be the case - the agreement with MyFC is that memebrs should not have to pay anything extra for going through the MyFC link. I suggest that you contact the WebTeam and give them the details so they can investigate.

My worry precisely. I wish I knew it was going to work smoothly, because, despite the idiots, I believe the vast majority of members don't want MyFC to [****!!****] this up.
