FA Trophy Prize money

Cheers Buster.

This is the prize fund for the FA Cup.

Havent and Waterlooville got more from their cup run then we'll get from our final day if we get there and win.

And they were on Five Live, twice, so that's £18,000 right there.

I don't begrudge them their money, well done and good luck to them but it is hardly comparative.

Now that is a difficult one Mr E. !!!!

I'll settle for the FA Trophy this year & perhaps the FA Cup next year, providing we can get rid of the 4th Qualifying Round jinx that seems to have hit us in the last few years !!

Pressure will be on you boys ( and girls), picking an FA Cup final team though. You had better get it right or there will be rioting !!!

Oh wow, you got me there.

My point was that Havent didn't actually win anything, what would you much rather do? Win the Trophy or get to the third round of a competition?
i wasn't trying to be sarcastic apologies if it read that way, as for the prize money i suppose most of it is generated by TV deals and as the cup is more prestigious the more money is spent on TV rights for the games thus meaning more money in the prize fund, as we all saw on Saturday and Tuesday(or not as the case maybe) the fa trophy doesnt get half the media coverage as the cup. Imagine turning the TV on and not finding the Quarter finals for the fa cup on instead your watching Eastenders, it wont happen, although i was surprised that sultana sports could get the rights for the game
