I really fancy our chances tonight, we beat Burton convincingly in the league a few weeks back and I see no reason why we can't progress past them in the cup. I also fancy our chances against Aldershot over 2 legs in the semi final. Come May 10th we could all be walking along Wembley Way and our team playing in the Final at the New Wembley.

ha ha...I'd still be there next christmas.... grin

reminds me of a well known colourful NL football club chairman a while back (no names) who's wife was sort of held over whilst said Chairman was asked to settle a bill outstanding to other more colourful figures....he laughed and said he'd send them 10 grand to keep her...

true that as well... grin

Here we go then! 2 games from the Final with only Aldershot standing in our way, it's gonna be a very tough Semi Final of course but I feel that if we get a good result at Stonebridge Road, we will go on to win the tie, but as I said, we will need a result from our home leg. Aldershot will be well supported for both legs and the team are on the verge of winning the league, so moral is very high, but if we can get our noses in front to take away, we have the Manager and the players that are more than capable of holding onto a lead away from Home. Wembley gets closer! COME ON YOU FLEET!

Its the cup

As long as we justify our place in the last 4 with two gutsy hard performances then I will be happy.

Aldershot dont loose at home that often. But the last month has seen us concede only 1 goal against a burton team whom only last year we woul be happy to not be humiliated against.

Daish is truley building a cup challanging team and spirit passion and believe is there. This is their chance.

Lets get the marketting team out today and start selling the game to the public. Probably our biggest game for some time.

Why does everybody keep assuming that we keep losing to Burton? In fact we have only lost one of the last 8 matches covering 3 seasons.

It might have been the case 5 years ago but it's not anymore.
