Did you know...

KSFA Rules state....

If there score is level after extra time the game will finish as a DRAW!!!!!

The Trophy is shared by the 2 teams!!!

This is because,,,, the game is the Kent "Schools" FA Final... being a Schools game they do not have penalty shoot outs in the final because the player who misses the penalty may get bullied under the regulation of "School", therefore.. no penalty shootout!

hmmm lol.. this is no joke

Ursuline 1- 0 Darrick Wood.

Any one there missed a great game. End to end.

Well done lads. I believe the German scored. Aaron Quaine shared my man of the match with Matty Bowles.

Well deserved 1-0 victory, good all round performance.

Very well defended last 20 minutes.

A lot of players were going down with cramp. I can't believe that this was down to fitness, more due to the heavy pitch.

Is there a lot of sand on the pitch at the mo??

My MOM would have been Bowlesy in Goal followed closely by

QPR trialist Ollie Gray. He never lost the ball once. Won everything in the air and looked very comfortable on the ball. I hope he gets his chance in the ressies/1st team next year or we may loose him.

Pitch does have quite a bit of sand in its base I believe. The pitch is a lot better than most at this stage in the season. Hard to blame it alone for cramp, but I do agree the pitch is quite unforgiving. I guess players were nervous and adrenaline played a part leading to cramp towards the end. Have to agree with your praise for Bowles and Ollie Gray. The left back Ollie Gray was fantastic I thought, and definitely is a player I'd like to see in the first team squad next season. We have a replacement for Skins in the making here. He's an u18s regular I assume? Hope he gets a chance for the ressies before the season is over.

I'd even go as far as to say he is one of the best prospects I've seen in our youth system this year, along with Aaron Quain and Joe Taylor. It would be a shame all round if he doesn't get a chance.

Also would like to say how full of running Quain was on the night, and he had a very good game. Tore Darrick to shreds. It's noticeable how free he looked compared to in his limited appearances for the first team. I guess that's pressure. All the more reason for Trotty to give Aaron some more chances in the first team, preferably from the start. I know we have more experienced options than him, but IMO he is a player who potentially has a future in the game and is local, so that should be encouraged. If we do see our play-off chances disappear shortly, I'd really hope Quain gets a run of starts.
