So Saturday isn't important? 3 points to continue the push for the play-offs doesn't count?
Am not agreeing, nor disagreeing. Who would wanna decide?

Personally, I would start Akinde tomorrow, see how he goes, I still think he played well on Saturday, and partner him with Nade and have Luke Moore as an assistant and attacking midfielder. If Akinde look knackered, take him off, move Mcphee to a striker's position and put Bostwick amongst the midfield, or just simply replace Akinde with Chukki.

For the rest of the midfield, have Neil Barrett, Stacy Long and McPhee (have Bostwick on the bench), then have the same defence as on saturday - a solid one!

It might also be so that Akinde doesn´t need any rest at all now.

He might have top games both against NCBA and Northwich.

Just because he is a teenager, doesn´t necessarily mean that he will need more rest than anyone else in the team.It is likely, but not for sure.

Björn Borg was a machine at the tennis circuit at 18..playing week in week out.

Jennifer Capriati did the same at 14.

Different individuals will cope with things differently.

Now everyone is at it, where are those moaners now?

Of course they are - it cost them £35!

Jaysus - there have been enough comments posted here recently about getting back to discussing football, and not the politics behind the scene - and as soon as we do, people still not happy!! LOL

Strange you haven´t picked the team and stuff like that before.

That´s part of a football forum I would think.

God knows we do it on the Wolves boards week in week out.

Helps having a sub par manager though, who gets it wrong time and time again a la Mick McCarthy.

Also helps,I presume, having the luxury of more alternatives in a championship side compared to a conference one.

My goodness.

There's a discussion taking place about who will play in our football team tomorrow.

Are we back to the good old days?

For the record, I'd put Johnny Boy on the bench tomorrow.

I think he has been fading noticeably (and physically) towards the end of matches in the last couple of weeks.

The other change I would make would be to shove Purcell on the left wing. Something different for the Brewers to think about and a chance for George to show that all the work he has been doing on getting his crosses in has paid off.

Have they had Long working on them as well, his crossing has been terrible of late, and his corner taking has been wayward, unless thats a new tactic put everyone on back post, then take the corner along the ground and to the front post.

Of course we do, and we have been able to pick any formation and combination of players we want in the sure and certain knowledge that nobody will ake any notice whatsoever.

Which is exactly how it should be.

Chatham Gary is an expert, he told me so.

Nade has ahd a couple of good outing recently and Chuckkie needs a chance after being dropped at torquay and on the bench Saturday.

John could come on if needed and will of course cause problems for NCBA as he did for a spell in first half Saturday.

me too
