often at non league matches you come across some old git who talks about the old days when thousands used to watch the team. has anyone got any info on what crowds actually watched their club in 'the old days' and when exactly did crowds drop?

apparentely barking post war were watched by thousands week in week out,what were romfords crowds like before they went bust?

Well Richard i have a picture on our website showing the packed old wooden stand at The spotted dog for a cup tie pre war.

Clapton regularly used to attract around 1-2000 when west ham were away around the war years.
