with Edgeware Town getting smashed and our win i think this makes us 5th and in the final play off with at least one game in hand over everyone above us, plus the next six teams below us all dropped points.

We're sixth. Two points behind Redbridge with a game in hand. Brentwood is going to be a crunch match.

Edgware are there for the taking now. They've dropped alot of points recently.

 

If we can win our games in hand, it will not only take us into the play offs but also give us a decent lead over the teams below us.

As long as we're there or there abouts is all that matters. Whats important now is building on the form and consistency. Often its the in-form teams that sneak into the play-offs late on and are the final victors.

What a great battling performance that was. Going down to 10 men so early you fear the worst, but we defended like demons and run ourselves into the ground.

 

Our goal was slightly fortunate, but if you put the ball in the right areas then you're always in with a chance.

 

James Russell made a top class save in the dying moments that he turned onto the bar, and happily the ref gave a goal kick!

 

Also, when you have a crowd of 382 it is important to win the match, and hopefully the majority of the crowd will have been suitably impressed with the performance with 10 men to be down @ Park Lane again in the near future.

It was good to see so many kids there, they gave the keeper some proper stick, I was thinking maybe we should tone down the language with so many kids there!

 

Then as I was walking past them they started singing " your support is effin sh^t"
