It used to be we had a couple of hundred posts on here every day, now it has all gone flat!!

Where is Ribbit, Canveyboy18, Yellow bungle, Pabird, Banana Boy, Merv, Lewis, Matt, Cangull, Anon E Mouse, EFM and all the rest.

Lets all use this thread to say why people are not posting!

Is it people have lost faith in the site?

Do we want a Canvey only Forum, linked to the main site, I am sure Charlie could organise it!!

We won't have a forum linked to the main site, it can cause the club far too many problems.

There already is a Canvey only forum - it's called the clubhouse! All Canvey fans talking about the game, players etc, you can't beat it!

In your official capacity as moderator are you requesting some controversy?

talking of which; you think we've got silence problems, you wanna check the St Albans forum. Ain't been any posts since 2003 !!!! Its unreal how eiry that place is.

I think its simply indicative of our standing in the pyramid. At this level theres naff all in away support, so less friction and excitment. Less to talk about overall.

I'd Just Luv It if we were promoted out of this league.

Just stating that a number of my posts seem to generate a few questions amongst ourselves and/or the Club.

I think St Albans have their own forum linked to their main site now. In all fairness they rarely ever talked about the football on the St Albans forum.

Only a few of the EFM guys actually go to St Albans games now.

Well, the most improved player in my mind from last season to this is Andrew West.

Last season he didn't exactly fill me with confidence, and I felt he was always liable to cost us a goal.

This season he has been immense, and the fact that he is the only player to have played every single match (league and cup) is a reflection of this. If Player of The Season was voted tomorrow, he would be my vote.

Agree, George was excellent yesterday and has done very well when called upon recently.

It has to be Westy as most improved player. Rarely has a bad game and one of the first names on the team sheet now.

I used to like reading your forum (lots of interesting stuff), but it did seem to go to sleep in the new year. You're still in the hunt for a play off place so I would have thought there would be a lot of correspondence.

Well, the Darts are looking forward to visiting you on Easter Monday so perhaps there will be more to talk about then.

See you in a few weeks. Really looking forward to it.

I agree with the Westy nomination for most improved player with Ricky not that far behind. Player of the Year for me has to be Fanibuyan though. Unfortunate he hasn't played more recently, but a car accident is a freak occurance. Also, most consistant performer of the season goes to Leon, followed by Westy.

Would say Ruggy for me for player of the year. Mr consistent, rarely has a bad game and gives 110% for the cause every game.

Torn between Nick and Westy at the moment, as you say Ruggy is a very hard worker, but Westy has improved so much over the past year he must be a contender for player of the season.
I also think Steve Corbell has been unlucky with his injuries, without those Steve would be in there too.
Mind you Gab is also quality .... to be honest there are quite a few lads in the consideration.
glad there are a few more games to go before i have to decide.....
