updaBTFC what about a small history corner how long has the blues played at the lodge? famous players, famous supporters,longest serving supporters, lady- man, Email interviews with the share holders what made them come to the club and invest?or ask the supporter corner, perhaps these people i have mentioned could e-mail you or come on to the forum,what about talk to the goalie. i know time is short its just some ideas i could think of also we have fans who just come to every home match and stand quietly, just chatting to some of them over the time they can spin a yarn or too. We all ready have an interview page called "Gift of The Gaz". A history page would be a good idea but that would be quite research intensive for the time. The club does hold some memrobilia, which can be used. For this time, I would leave it.

UpdaBTFC, you asked before and I said make yourself available at the game, see me and we'll discuss. Sadly, we missed each other. Again, if you are going to Boreham Wood today, see me and we'll discuss.

Actually, a history page with news cuttings and pictures is a great idea BF and all that really requires is scanning in the articles!!! Thank you...from little acorns....

I love the history side of things. I've got a big box of photos (and a few old newspaper cuttings) that the TC has lent me (including some great 70s vase pics from the boardroom wall), which I'm slowly scanning in - so let me know if I can help.

 

Maybe we could get a letter in the Billericay Gazette asking for old players to get in touch for inteviews etc? Even if the players don't see it, hopefully somebody who knows them will.

 

I'm also working on a 'new and improved' BTFC website which should be ready soon, and I was planning on doing a bit of retro stuff on there.
