Thankyou Deano.

Boy, you miss a little, you miss a lot when it comes to Margate FC...

I have been away for half term this past week, and was thrilled to hear of last weekend's victory, but now I am shocked to find out that Deano has gone, and having read through some of the threads I am still not completely sure what has occured, but shall carry on shifting through the posts in the coming days!

My initial reaction is that this has been a snap decision when instead a full, thorough investigation should have taken place with all sides having their say, including Dean's.

I shall not comment any more for now as I do not know enough to do so, but would like to join others in saying a huge thankyou to Deano for his commitment as a Margate player over the years.

I notice the official website has not been updated with any reference to the kangaroo court, and Deano's dismissal. So I suppose that the lie splashed all over the local press will be allowed to stand, and eventually seep into the history of the club.

I would like to see any workplace in any industry that would allow such a travesty get away with it. Ah well, that's football eh?

Why have an official website if it does not keep abreast of the news? Or is the club too embarrassed to mention it? I spot a budget saving here, if the club wants to save a few bob.

As I understand it the club has said that DS has the right to appeal. It is therefore up to the appelant to put his appeal together with his Union or Legal Advisors, whether it is football or not is immaterial.

I really don't see why you have a problem with info not being put on the website. Everyone doesn't have the facility to search the website and in the past the news would only get out in the paper anyway. The trouble is now that everyone wants to know things immediately - the world wants slowing down.

Surely if DS puts in his appeal within the given time that doesn't anyway mean that the matter will be resolved that quickly - presumably there will then be a hearing.
