Trust

The owner(s) of TVSL (the Club) are being accused of not contributing. The owners are an integral part of the Management Committee who, collectively, contribute more than anyone. Maybe I should be more specifc - add up the hours the owner(s) put in without reward and to be abused....etc etc.

As far as I can see, Roger, you started this thread with an unfounded accusation which it is suggested by other people has no substance. Is this part of your training for becoming a Councillor?

Ian as you know so much could you answer the question I ask Sue?

Sue if that is the case ie the club did not ask for money and don't need money. Why did the trust offer the money?

As a sort of aside, how many hours do you think Bernard as put in.

I am certainly practising my typing.

I told you so!!!!! (please refer to the previous posts about the relationship of the Club and the Trust where money is involved)

How glad am I that I have kept my money in my pocket and not squandered it by putting it into the bottomless pit of the club and the little brother of "Northan Rock" that is known as the Trust.

My money is in my pocket, in my control, and will be used when I see fit to use it!!! grin

This might be a bit of a silly question, but it has been suggested that we will not be in the "Paul Janik Stadium" (arbour vale) till the 2010/11 season, how is the money side going to work?

The club is short of cash now and the Trust has limited funds (should it wish to release them), there has been no large company/individual attracted to sponsor the club, the builders are twichy about providing funds at this point, so how will the club survive for 2 more years? - other than the fans putting their hands deep into their pockets?

Anon lets get a few facts straight!

I pay £8 to get in the gate each home game - the £2 left over from my £10 note goes into "Teds" bucket after the gate.

I then give Roger £20 each home game which pays for match sponsorship.

On leaving the ground I usally put a further couple of pounds into the buckets.

If I have done my sums right that makes £32.

If every one of the adults who came in the gate did that then club would get:

£32 x 150 adults = £4800 a game or

21 home games at £4800 = £100800

If everyone did what I do then there would be no financial issues

And if anyone says I dont do my bit then look at the numbers above and think about what you do!!!
