A little bird has told me that afchx have designs on Hullbridge!! By all accounts they want to play there capital league games over there. Willing to pay for a new perimeter fence for a cool sum of 20 k. Sounds a bit, well to be blunt. Dishonest. How many other ESL teams are they going to start bankrolling!!

 

By all accounts they have been told to fek off by Hullbridge.

I can't believe it!You must keep a close monitor on each other club activities Lightweight...news spread fast in that part of East London! :)What can we say? There has been a "pour parler" or formal offer,which has been politely declined by our chairman and club officials.Altough it's nice that people are interested at what Hullbridge can offer,the tought was that people that offer their help to Hullbridge Sports FC are there to see an Hullbridge team play,for Hullbridge and in Hullbridge.The only thing that i would say to the Urchins is:if you think that Esl provide a sterner test for your youth and fringe players,tell them to come to the Bridge for a game.Altough they will have to hurry up because there is a long queue and have to prove that they are any better of any Bridge youngster who by the look of it are coming on leaps and bounds,tested every week in games at THE ARENA,RUSH GREEN,LEN SALMON STADIUM,THE BERNAMBEU and not playing tippy tappy thursday practice matches away to leyton,maldon or bishops storford ressies...Anyway let's get on with our jobs and fight this GLOBALISATION cancer that is spreading around... grineverybody fighting for his little corner or Bridge we say... smile
