An excellent result on Sunday at the Stadium where the under 18's team took on Braintree.

 

John Lawrence and his management team took the opportunity to move four players up from the under 16's for this game and all four players performed very well as did the rest of the team.

 

1-0 up at half time through a Jon Spackman goal....the Urchins piled on the pressure in the second period and further goals from Des Gallen, Dane O'Connnor, Lance McDowell and Soloman Bangura completed what was a comfortable afternoon's work for these busy young Urchins...

 

All bodes well in the youth set up for next year....look out 1st team strikers...there's goals galore below you....

Personally, I like the young Tony Maynard and let's not forget Bradley Kite, who came on ax sub, but added a bit of class.
