not as bored as you will be in a years time when you have to stump up more dosh.... grin
I've already paid more money into the club and i think it was money well spent.

well I hope you get pleasure from it and realise whatever dreams you aspire to.....

as for me...I know that owning football clubs is heartache and unless you like a good thrashing every year and an empty bank balance....leave now before its all too late... grin

night all... laugh

Even if it was one bloke (which it isn't), I'm not sure I'd be that bothered begrudging him 200 grand for a return of a million-plus. Probably on a par with the salary of some chief executives of football clubs who only deliver debt...

I'm not taking sides, you understand, just like to balance the conversation now and again... wink

Unc, I think I can safely take you to task on this one without at least being accused of being a moonie... wink

But there's an awful lot of talk about this admin fee and to me, it doesn't seem like an awful lot of cash - 28,400 x £7.50 is £213k. If, say, six people are working more or less full-time on the project, that's an average salary of £35,000ish. Not bad, but hardly worthy of that much discussion, particularly given the web guys on it at least haven't been paid a salary until the takeover is ratified.

Plus, if we're talking about it in purely business terms, a salary of £35k if in return you have helped raise over a million quid is fair commission in my book...?
[plus the website hosting/set up/office rent/travel expences ect ect

OK Mr England, you are on a website now, how much does Ian_W charge you (or anyone else), to run, and allow you to post on this website.
Office Rent, isn't this website run out of his top floor flat?
Travel expenses, for what, moving from one comfortable chair to another?
Seeing all the big firm connections MYfc say they have, why aren't they taking sponsorship money to run their website?
does he not ask for donations?? as for the location of this website and in fact the myfc website im not sure but if its not in an office it in a house and rent/mortgage would need to be paid on that, and the travel expenses from where will lives to the various grounds he has been to in order to scope out potential clubs, what big firm connections are you on about I only know that EA are one of MyFC supporters what support they are giving/going to give has not been made public knowledge

Well Mr England, let's make this easy for you. You found one company straight away, EA! One of the biggest Computer Games Manufacturers going!

Then let's say, at random of course........Nike?

Then some tinpot Rail Company.......Eurostar?

There are three for you, then with all these "fans" from all around the world.........How about a worldwide travel company, who if they advertise on your site, would reap the benefit of the 28,000 flocking to Stonebridge Road.

Not really hard is it..........And I am not being paid to think this up......What are willie's team doing for their money?

i was going to try and write a post saying that the companies you mentioned were sponsors of EUFC and not MyFC so why would they want to help MyFC until they had purchased the 75% stake in Ebbsfleet, but i thought that this would fall on deaf ears you would then try to pick holes in what I'd typed so i will respond by saying

OK AFF your right and the 28,500+ members are all deluded fools

I thought Myfc HAD taken over 75% of Ebbsfleet, and I thought EUROSTAR were only too glad to get free publicity by holding the launch party in their Bluewater premises?
As to falling on deaf ears, Mr England, I guess my picking holes does the same to either somebody who is more than just a member, or another Willie mouthpiece!

yes MyFC have taken over the 75% which is why eurostar did the champagne launch at there bluewater shop, but my point was would eurostar have done the champers launch on 13th November when the deal was first announced?? no because the deal was still not complete so why would they waste their money, all i am is a member of myfc i think its a good idea which is why I'm trying to defend it but all your and other myfc haters negativity is so tiring and boring that I'm having trouble finishing off these post's so from now on you may continue to say what you like about myfc, will brookes, the "moonies" unchallenged from me because i cannot be bothered with banging my head against a brick wall

sorry if any of my post have been boring, and i apologise for coming across as arrogant but when i came on to this forum it was my intention to answer peoples questions on MyFC and to feel a bit closer to the original fleet fans so i didn't come across as being a computer nerd outsider, seems i have failed in fact it seems as if i have made things worse.

I will try to explain further, Mr England........Look at the top of this page, you will see an Ebbsfleet logo, do you see a MYfc logo?

No! You might own the Club, but not this forum.

If some of the people on here were stupid intelligent enough to join your scheme, they are surely stupid intelligent enough to go to the Myfc forum for Myfc news.

Why did you think it was your duty to come on this forum and repeat all the propoganda that is posted on there?

Are you trying to insult their intelligence?

Can I butt in or is this a private squabble ? smile

My tuppenceworth is that there are a number of other groups looking at this MyFC/EUFC link-up and watching how it pans out. I'm aware (from football media contacts) of at least 2 such groups, one in the North of England looking at the possibility of purchasing a club in, say, the Unibond and a Scottish 'clan' eager to 'do a Gretna' with a wee club up there.

If either/both of these and similar projects get off the starting-blocks, that might take some supporters/investors away from MyFC/EUFC in the regions concerned where potential fans could more easily get to games.
