Will RT make any more signings this season

In the absence of any Margate football to talk about this week (due respect to reserves who play tomorrow)thought i'd offer this up for debate - whether RT will make any more signings this season.

My personal opinion is that he won't; (unless SCS gets injured)and frankly and credit to him, he seems to finally have an extensive and balanced squad.

First time in about 4 years when i've thought that the 'squad is complete' (whether its good enough is another question, but was not expecting too much this season anyway).

I can't see that we are 'short' in any position at all.

I'm equally surprised that one or two have not left on loan, but maybe no-one is interested in our fringe players.

Can anyone else see that we need a player in any position-as stated-i can't.

I guess thats where RT will now surprise everyone by making a major coup-not totaly impossible i guess if he really is building for next season

Would agree with that Buzz but saying that seems unfair on those youngsters in the Reserves then as they seem to have enough players to fill two teams when warming up.

AS CE suggests,RT sure likes his right wingers does'nt he:

Axon,Moir,Yianni,Peters,Corbishly Martin,Morris, Saunders,Side,Pinnock

We've only got 10 players who can all play in that position.

To be fair, RT normally makes good signings, but he really does love his wide men, which frustrates me as they are only involved in the game 50% of time, and on the rare occasions you get a quality ball, the strikers are'nt usually good enough to capitalise at this level.

Central midfield or central defence-always good to strengthen down the spine of the team imo, but another wide player ??

But RT knows best so good luck to him

Moir, Morris, Saunders, Side and Pinnock i wouldn't put in that list as they have only played there when we have been low in numbers in that department and although they have done a good job when asked to play there I don't think they will be good enough to play there week in week out.

Jay Saunders played up front for 1 or 2 games last season and scored, but i don't consider him as a striker.

Does it also suggest that we may not see Yianni this season,and/or assuming that RT would not sign anyone now just for 2 months ,that Yianni may leave at end of season ?

I'm probably making 2+2 =5 though.

Will still be surprised if RT does sign anyone, but deep down, whatever position, i hope he does at it adds a bit of extra interest to the end of the season games.

I don't think that RT has a choice - lack of funds will probably mean that we will have to finish the season with what we have. You never know, this MAY have a silver lining to it and allow younger, less experienced players to shine through.

I hope so.
