Guest Malc & Sandra
Sorry to see Chris leave. Absolutely works his socks off and scored some good goals for the Boro. A lot of competion in midfield at the Boro which perhaps is why Chris was unhappy but you never know the facts from the outside. Confident he will be an asset to the Rebels and will enjoy playing in front of decent gates. Hope you pull it around and climb away from relegation, it would be criminal to see a great club like Slough go down. Martin
What would you consider to be his best position? He started right wing back for us on Saturday.
Guest the finest
to be honest mr hibbs aint up to southern leagues standards, maybe a league below would suit him better, just a shame a good club like slough have to take hillingdons reserves or subs. Guest Malcolm & Sandra
Definately left midfield is the best we have seen him perform. However he gives his all in any position he is asked to fill. And in answer to the other mail I dont think Chris was ever regarded as a sub or reserve, he was a squad member. Reading Rebel
He was regarded as a 'squad member' but how many times did he start for Hillingdon?.

Guest Anonymous
he played all the way through the vase run in 2006, when they also got promoted and won another cup. in the middle of last season he signed for diss town, along with dave lawrence and ryan wharton. from what i have heard this was only because they had been offered stupid money.this explains the low amount of starts he had in 2006/07 He had a bad injury which kept him out for several months but as u can see from the previous message not many games did he start on the bench for boro, he was an important part of their team. he was well liked and appreciated down at boro. he will turn out to be just as important for slough town. as for his best position, he has played all over the midfield. hope u can avoid the drop. his aquisition will definatley boost your chances. non league follower
Guest Anonymous
i hav a contact at hillingdon and they say in 2005 chris played more because they was in the spartan league and that is he's limit, since hillingdon got promoted he has struggled because he aint good enough every week and only played well 1 in every 5 or 6 games, plus he's attitude was rubbish... still i hope he does well for slough but he aint goin to save them. Reading Rebel
I must admit, apart from the obvious fallout/argument with the manager why would a player who was good enough for Hillingdons 1st team come to Slough?.
Guest Anonymous
r u guys expecting slough to sign players from farnboro or didcot. u have to understand that the players u bring in are not going to be the best in the league. mr hibbs will probably have the best cv at your club now. there cant be to many bad players who have made it to the VASE final. he has experience at this level and has also played in other leagues. when i saw him play against slough at home and away he was one of hillingdons best players. i dont think he will set the world on fire but he is a damn sight better then what we have had out there so far. from what i understand he aint a wingback and never has been. right side midfield who likes to get in the box, well thats what he done against slough (and done it well). Chris
I'm bored of this nonsense so the thread is locked. He's an STFC player so get behind the lad. Anonymous is probably a bitter ex player/team mate who never made it at this level.
